As announced in the last Travel post here, I finally come up with my little travel guide about Sanremo. Read and see what we have done and what kind of experiences we made, as well as a few MUST-DO’s.
1. Have dinner at the Royal Hotel Sanremo:
Have an unforgettable dinner at the Royal Hotel Sanremo. On the second evening we enjoyed a 4-course menu, in which each course a different olive oil was chosen. I never thought I would taste and recognize the difference of the different oils. It was a dream thanks to the right presentation and the perfect food!
2. Stroll through the old town of Sanremo
As we were very close to the heart of the old town of Sanremo, we went there by foot to discover the city. A lot of shops ranging from high-fashion boutiques such as Gucci to popular stores such as Mango and Calzedonia were all there. I love walking around in a city and standing where I like to.
3. Stadtmarkt besuchen
3. Visit the city market
As in every city there is also a market in Sanremo! Every morning, a weekly market takes place in Piazza Eroi Sanremesi. From fresh fish to flowers and hand-made bags you will find everything. I love such markets because you meet the locals and the air has different smells.
4. Bicycle tour along the 24 kilometer cycle track
Along the Blumenriviera runs a 24 km long cycle path (longest cycle path in Europe). Once this was the railway line from San Lorenzo to Ospedaletti. Who knows me knows that I am not the most active person in sports. But believe me, it was super enjoyable and we could see a beautiful landscape with sea views and different beaches. For the lazy ones, there are also tandem and electric bikes.
5. Go and have a swim in the sea
You will hear this tip from me every time. I love to go swimming in the sea in other cities or countries. So you can always say, “I’ve been to the sea in Sanremo or XY. :)”
6. Eis essen in Italien
Wo gibt es das beste Gelato? Natürlich in Italien! ICE ICE BABY!
6. Eat ice cream in Italy
Where is the best gelato from? Of course Italy! And while you’re there, you have to eat an ice cream! There are countless ice cream shops with fresh homemade ice cream or sorbs. ICE ICE BABY!
7. Bring olive oil home
Since Liguria is known for its olive plantations, you can buy local olive oil anywhere and bring them home to your loved ones. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time, but next time I would love to visit an olive plantation./www.pokerpost.fr/2017/10/un-tps-monsterstack-au-casino-de-sanremo-le-21-et-22-octobre/
8. Try your luck at the Casino Sanremo
In the center of the city of Sanremo is the imposing casino building. Try your luck and enjoy a unique ambience. The casino is open all year long and every day. There are no rules of clothing, you can wear your casual clothes. We won at Blackjack and earned the afternoon snack hihi ;-).
